Abstract
High energy consumption and high energy cost have been one of the most important challenges faced by large Internet data centers (IDCs). Combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) system has brought new idea to energy supply for IDCs where the power supply is tight. Furthermore, geographically distributed IDCs can transfer load demand each other by geographical load balancing (GLB) technology through the data network. That is, IDCs, which are geographically distributed integrated energy systems, can be connected by data network. In this paper, an energy management model for the IDCs considering of the coordinating optimization of workload and CCHP system is established. A case study is given to verify the validity of the proposed model.
