Abstract

This paper proposes an energy optimization management method of interaction between the smart energy hub (SEH) and users in the energy system. Internet of Things (IoT) and energy storage are also considered in the system. First, the models of the SEH and users are constructed. Then the profit models under the influence of energy storage are discussed. Next the Stackelberg game model is applied in this paper, where the SEH acts as the leader and the users are the followers. A double-layer algorithm is proposed to solve the problem. Finally, a case is studied to verify the correctness of the method. The results show that the method can be used for effective energy management in integrated energy system and IoT plays an important role in information exchange.

Summary

INTRODUCTION

T HE Internet of Things (IoT) has been regarded as a promising network paradigm that narrow the gap between the virtual and real world and the world is becoming increasingly “smart” [1]. [16] proposes a novel kind of Demand Response (DR) model aiming at energy supply of various energy sources in smart grids and introduces the basics concepts of the SEH in detail. The main contributions of this paper are presented as follows: 1) The IoT is introduced into the integrated energy system to achieve information collection and interaction between multi-participants. The IoT connects users and smart energy hub, which can realize information exchange completely and demand response smoothly [19].
