Abstract

The reaction 49Ti(p, nγ)49V has been studied at an incident energy of Ep = 5.74 MeV using a pulsed beam. Energy levels, a decay scheme, and gamma-ray branching ratios have been obtained from the observed gamm-ray spectra. Lifetimes are obtained by a direct timing technique. Energy levels up to 3667 keV excitation have been observed including some that were seen previously only through other reactions. New gamma-ray transitions have also been observed. The results obtained are compared with those from previous works.
