Abstract

The energy-dependent β-γ circular polarization correlation P γ was measured to restrict the possible nuclear matrix-element solutions which can be used to describe the 2 −–2 + positron transition in 84Rb. The analysis shows that there may be a significant contribution from all six matrix elements. The matrix-element analysis indicates that A 3 is much smaller than A 1 in P γ .
