Abstract

Energy consumption model is the basis of stone sawing energy consumption optimization. The reliable evidence can be provided by precise model for stone sawing process. The most efficient stone sawing processing scheme can be selected. Based on processing parameters, improved power and energy model was established. Sawing parameters was taken as the basic variate, of which the influence on improved power and energy model was adequately considered. The processing power characteristics were demonstrated. Based on the average material removal rate, the other energy consumption model was set up. The processing power and energy was convenient to be calculated based on the average material removal rate. The power and energy consumption model of variable material removal rate and constant material removal rate process was built. The whole energy consumption was determined. By the way of data collection, statistical analysis and curve fitting, the two models’ coefficients were obtained. An example of sawing Lotus red granite block in a Rizhao stone processing enterprise was used to verify the feasibility of the two energy consumption models.
