Abstract

This paper presents the results of study of the effect of different factors on the magnitude of the saturation parameter of losses introduced into the laser cavity by the anisotropy of the absorbing medium as well as the corresponding change in the intensity of the generated radiation at the frequency of the absorption line. The single-frequency stationary lasing state of a laser whose cavity contains an absorbing medium in a longitudinal magnetic field and cells which create a linear amplitude (partial polarizer) and circular phase (nonresonant Faraday cell) anisotropy are also studied. Calculation results are compared with the experimentally obtained data.
