Abstract

Two-dimensional profiles (32×16 spatial channels) of energy spectra of x-ray emission are measured with an energy resolution of 0.16 keV using the photon counting soft x-ray charge coupled device (CCD) camera by optimizing the intensity of x ray with attenuation Be filter in the compact helical system. The energy spectra measured with the CCD camera agrees with that estimated from electron temperature and density measured with YAG Thomson scattering.
