Energy and Environment Cooperation Between China and US: Characteristics, Challenges and Prospects

Abstract

China and the United States have maintained close communication in the field of energy and environment, and deepened cooperation through a series of bilateral and multilateral cooperation mechanisms. The paper analyses the development of China US energy and Environment cooperation, and the restricting factors as well. In the new historical period, China and the United States should deepen energy cooperation, especially in terms of the specific ideas and effective ways, and promote new-type clean energy cooperation.
