Abstract
The paper presents terminology and applicable legal requirements in the field of energy efficiency. The proprietary methodology for energy management in manufacturing enterprises, taking into account environmental requirements as well as ISO 50001: 2018, has been presented. The purpose of the work is to increase the energy efficiency of production processes by optimizing machining processes. The authors have prepared a set of energy and economic indicators dedicated in particular to companies dealing with mechanical processing. Sample calculations were made for the turning process.
