Abstract

Either the ejected electron and/or scattered positron spectra were studied mostly so far when positrons were used in the collision experiments as projectile. However, the recoil ion spectra also hold the promise that all information can be obtained from the collision system. We performed classical simulation for collision between 50 eV positron and helium atom. We present double differential correlation pattern between the recoil energy and the scattering angle of the recoil ion. We show that unambiguous mapping can be derived between the correlation pattern and the various final states.
