Abstract

The temperature dependences of the ratios of the average surface tension grain boundaries in α- and β-phase to the average surface tension of α/β interphase boundaries are determined in a wide temperature range in α + β region of Ti–6Al–4V alloy. The temperature dependences of the average surface tension of grain boundaries in α- and β-phase and α/β interphase boundaries are estimated on the basis of the dependences obtained and literature data.
