Abstract
Endrin (1,2,3,4,10,10-hexachloro-6,7-epoxy-1,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydro-exo1,4-exo-5,8-dimethanonaphthalene) is an organochlorine cyclodiene insecticide once widely used in the United States. USEPA (1979) canceled most uses and denied registration for new uses. The chemical is now registered only for the control of cutworms, grasshoppers, and voles.
