Abstract
Surgical management of juxtarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms represent a significant challenge in contemporary vascular surgery. As in other fields of vascular surgery, this specific subset of vascular disease has experienced tremendous development over the past two decades with the advances in endovascular techniques. However, unlike infrarenal aortic aneurysms, the cohort of patients with juxtarenal aneurysms is much smaller and thus poses scientific challenges when attempting to compare various treatment techniques.
