Abstract
As a common disease in pediatric outpatient and emergency departments, foreign bodies in digestive tract of children can occur in all ages.Foreign bodies in digestive tract is swallowed accidently or deliberately, which can neither be digested nor be absorbed in gastrointestinal tract.Early and timely diagnosis of foreign bodies in digestive tract which failed to pass spontaneously through the gastrointestinal tract or caused gastrointestinal tissue damage should be fully assessed and perfect auxiliary examination.Emergency endoscopic treatment with high success rate, less complications and quick recovery of organ function has become the best treatment for foreign bodies in digestive tract and is worth for extensive application in the clinic.
