Abstract

Endoscopie management is becoming the preferred treatment for the many patients with benign or malignant biliary disease.1 We recently saw a patient who presented with the unusual problem of stones in the common bile duct and a cholecystocolic fistula causing profuse diarrhoea. Such a patient would usually be treated by cholecystectomy and excision of the fistula, which is often difficult and hazardous. We report what we believe to be the first case in which non operative management of this condition was successful.
