Abstract
The endoscopic transorbital approach has been recently proposed for the surgical management of spheno-orbital lesions as an alternative to craniotomy surgeries. We analyze the technical nuances and what we have changed as our experience increased after the first operations performed for 12 different spheno-orbital lesions. The endoscopic transorbital approach is useful for the treatment of selected spheno-orbital lesions and could represent an interesting option in experienced hands. More studies are needed to fully understand its potentialities and limitations.
