Abstract
Introduction: Clival chordomas are challenging lesions for which the optimal treatment is debated in the literature. Most would agree that radical resection, when possible, represents the best chance for long-term recurrence-free survival. Traditionally, extensive skull base approaches were necessary for radical resection. More recently, endoscopic techniques have become more popular, but their exact role in the treatment of clival chordomas has yet to be determined.
