Abstract

Abstract: Traumatic diplopia can be caused by an entrapped, ruptured, or lost extraocular muscle, which is clinically challenging. Numerous surgical approaches can be tailored, depending on which muscle is involved. We present a patient suffering from inferior rectus muscle disruption treated with endoscopic transmaxillary approach and muscle plication procedure. This surgical technique is a novel and effective surgical technique in managing traumatic diplopia.
