Abstract

Pulmonary hemorrhage is a severe complication associated with high lethality. One of the main methods of diagnosis and treatment is the endoscopic one. This paper describes the experience of treating 100 patients with pulmonary hemorrhage. Incomplete silver salt of poly (acrylic acid) (ISPA), a new generation biologically active hemostatic with silver nanoparticles, was used as a hemostatic agent, which was injected into the tracheobronchial tree during bronchoscopy in the amount of 3.0 to 10.0 mL depending on the degree of pulmonary hemorrhage. In all patients, hemostasis was achieved within a time interval of 30 seconds to 1 minute with a single injection of the ISPA solution. No complications or bleeding recurrence were registered.
