Abstract
Let $$\mathbb{D}$$ be an arbitrary division ring and M n ( $$\mathbb{D}$$ ) the multiplicative semigroup of all n × n matrices over $$\mathbb{D}$$ . We describe the general form of endomorphisms of M n ( $$\mathbb{D}$$ ).
