Abstract

A 40-year-old woman with known recurrent endometriosis was referred to us by the gynecologists because of an asymptomatic liver lesion. She was multiparous with four previous pregnancies. Ten years ago she had pelvic endometriosis affecting the left ovary, and a left ovarian cystectomy was performed. Three years ago she presented again with recurrent dysmenorrhea and bleeding per vagina. A sonogram revealed a posterior fundal fibroid and a recurrent hemorrhagic cyst in the left ovary. The diagnoses were recurrent pelvic endometriosis and uterine fibroid.
