Abstract
Five cases of endometrial stromatosis over a period of 13 years are described and the relative literature is reviewed. This study tries to demonstrate, in conformity with other authors, that the malignant behavior of this particular kind of tumor is expressed by the anaplasia of the neoplastic cells, rather than the mitotic index rate.
