Abstract
B-cell CLL/lymphoma 6 (BCL6) is a proto-oncogene that is overexpressed in the secretory endometrium of women with endometriosis. It has been postulated that BCL6 may serve as a surrogate marker for occult endometriosis, as well as a predictor of endometrial dysfunction and poor implantation. Therefore, BCL6 expression has been proposed as an adjunct test for women undergoing IVF. However, this test has not yet been validated in the general IVF population. The aim of this study was to determine whether increased endometrial BCL6 expression is associated with implantation failure in women undergoing IVF.
