Abstract

Background and Aims: Spontaneous reperfusion of infarct-related artery (IRA) in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is associated with better clinical outcome and long-term prognosis. This can be explained by the enhanced activation of endogenous fibrinolytic system in acute period. The aim of our work was to investigate the process of endogenous fibrinolysis and endothelial function in STEMI-patients with spontaneous reperfusion in deferred period.
