Abstract

The morphology of third molars has always been described as unpredictable. Most common configuration of the root canal anatomy in mandibular third molar is two roots and three root canals, but they might have many different combinations. Unusual root canal morphology of a mandibular third molar is presented in this case report to demonstrate an anatomic variation. The appearance of the pulp chamber floor presented four separate canal orifices three mesially (mesiobuccal, middle mesial, and mesiolingual) and a single distally. A successful endodontic treatment was performed for the mandibular third molar with a rare aberrant root canal anatomy.
