Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Magnetic Resonance (MR) imaging is the modality of choice to evaluate uterine anomalies (UA). Frequently these anomalies are present in infertile women. Gynecologist need to know the type of anomaly as well as associated pathology that can be present in these patients to decide the best therapeutic choise. MR has limitations in the intraluminal evaluation. The objective of this paper is to show the usefulness of Virtual histerosalpingography (VHSG) in the detection of endoluminal pathologies asociated with UA un patients with normal endoluminal MR.
