Abstract

We report two cases of endobronchial metastatic lesion from osteosarcoma of the bone. Case 1 describes a 15-year-old boy, and Case 2 reports a 24-year-old man. The former showed a mineralized mass in the right lower lobe, and the latter demonstrated atelectasis of the left lower lobe. Both cases revealed endobronchial polypoid lesions in the truncus intermedius and left lower bronchus, respectively. Only two cases of endobronchial metastasis from osteosarcoma have been reported previously, and this is considered to be a rare condition. We report the clinical features, image findings, and histology. Journal of Bronchology7:236-239, 2000.
