Abstract

Objectives: End Tidal CO2 (ETCO2) predicts Return of Spontaneous Circulation (ROSC), though limited by respiratory variability. Cerebral Oximetry (CerOx) utilizes non-invasive near-infrared spectroscopy to measure the regional O2 saturation of the brain. The objective of this study is to compare ETCO2 to CerOx in predicting ROSC during both out of hospital (OHCA) and emergency department cardiac arrests (EDCA).
