Abstract

Constructing economical and efficient electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is very important to develop clean energy technologies, such as fuel cells and metal-air batteries. In this work, the Fe2P-Co2P embedded in N-doped biomass-based carbon and carbon nanotube hybrid (Fe2P-Co2P/NCB-CNT) with plenty of interfacial structure was successfully fabricated using a green strategy. The satisfactory surface area, hierarchical porous structure, and the synergistic effect between Fe2P-Co2P nanoparticles and nitrogen-doped carbon composite substrate make the Fe2P-Co2P/NCB-CNT exhibiting excellent catalytic activity and stability for ORR.
