Abstract
Synthesis from 1,4 addition of lithium anion of allyl phenyl sulfide to 3,3-dimethylacrylonitrile and to methyl 3,3-dimethyl acrylate. The synthesis combine an asymmetric Katsuki-Sharpless epoxidation and a regiospecific alkylation( Stork cyclization)
