Abstract

The calcium and phosphorus dissolved from enamel were determined in 0.5-hour fractions during flow of a weak acid solution through small chambers containing surfaces of tooth enamel. The results demonstrated reactions of Ca and P dissolution and concurrent reactions of CaF2 formation at the surface of enamel minerals.
