Abstract
The paper provides a computer-aided software engineering (CASE) tool environment for linking structured systems analysis, formal system specification in Z., and system implementation in CPD. The proposed approach is applicable to the design and execution of conceptual schemas appropriate to a relational database environment and to deductive database applications. The methodology is illustrated with a detailed application — the Education Management System (EMS).
