Abstract

Women empowerment is a multi-dimensional process which enables women to realize their full identity and powers in all spheres of life. Empowerment of women through political participation brings about a change in the society positively. Notable constitutional, legislative reforms and economics reforms have empowered women to have an equal footing with men. My article focuses on the immediate need for women empowerment and how international, governmental and non-governmental organisations should cater to it.
