Abstract

PurposeThis paper aims to review the latest management developments across the globe and pinpoint practical implications from cutting-edge research and case studies.Design/methodology/approachThis briefing is prepared by an independent writer who adds their own impartial comments and places the articles in context.FindingsA study of the eating habits of 881 employees at a rural Australian mining company revealed that almost two-thirds (61.7 per cent) wanted to eat better and nearly three-quarters (74.5 per cent) desired assistance with nutritional advice. The authors of the research also showed that despite the desire to eat better, less than half the workers surveyed wanted to take part in individual nutritional coaching schemes.
