Abstract

High employee mobility within the hotel industry has become one of the major concerns of researchers and practitioners. The main objectives are; a) to investigate the relationship between employees gender towards jobs mobility need. b) To study influences of employees gender with job mobility working in restaurant industry sectors. This study implements a ‘mixed method’ methodology to recover a factor affecting employee’s mobility in the Restaurants services sector with 385 respondents. Further, this study will also contribute to the number of literature for human resources in Malaysian hospitality industry that is still scarce and hoped to be part of literature guide, especially to the Malaysian academician and hospitality establishment managements.
