Abstract
This paper aims to shed light on factors that affect organizational commitment and how they affect it. We propose a theoretical framework, highlighting three factors namely Employee Empowerment, Teamwork, and Training that affect Transformational Leadership and job satisfaction. And these two factors subsequently explain Organizational Commitment. Empirical validity was established by conducting a survey using a close-ended Likert scale type questionnaire on 200 employees residing in Karachi. Data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structured equation modeling. Results completely backed our theory showing a significant and positive mediatory effect of Transformational Leadership and job satisfaction. Empowerment, Teamwork, and Training have a positive and significant influence on Transformational Leadership and job satisfaction, and they further produce a significant impact on commitment. This study offers important policy insight for organizational managers who seek to increase job satisfaction among their organizational staff.
