Abstract

Employability is an important constituent that helps in the growth of the individual and the nations at large. Employability in all disciplines is important including specially the management domain since industry 4.0 does not only create and destroy jobs, they also change the task that people perform on the job, and how they do it.Employability is a challenge which is faced by most of the management institution. This paper is an attempt to understand the importance of knowledge, skills and abilities in the new technological era so as to enhance employability of management graduates. The perspective of employability is studied from the view point of faculty members, employers and the graduates themselves. The gap scores of KSA perceptions required for employability between employer and students and between employer and faculty members were determined and analyzed. The study concludes that there is a distinguishable gap between the various variables specifically between digital skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of research methods.
