Abstract

International tourism receipts are an important part of tourism revenue, and now have few studies in the field, especially the less empirical study. In view of this, we apply the covariance analysis model and the Granger Causality Test, 1 to the 1995-2010 Sichuan international tourism receipts and conduct economic-growth empirical analysis on empirical data. According to the analysis results, international tourism receipts impact on economic-growth is significant, and there is bidirectional causality. Sichuan also proposed to increase tourism infrastructure and investment in supporting measures to attract more foreign tourists to boost consumer spending with the accumulated funds and promote the rapid development of social economy in Sichuan Province.
