Abstract

Based on data for insulating n-type CdSe at temperatures between 0.05 and 4.2 K and magnetic fields above 3 T (up to the highest measured field of 9 T), we demonstrate an empirical relation between the longitudinal and transverse conductivities given by ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\sigma}}}_{\mathit{x}\mathit{y}}$=scrAH${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\sigma}}}_{\mathit{x}\mathit{x}}^{3/2}$.
