Abstract

In this paper we improve previous formulas of one-nucleon separation energies in terms of $N/Z$ [K. Vogt, T. Hartmann, and A. Zilges, Phys. Lett. B 517, 255 (2001)] by considering corrections related to the symmetry energy and refined pairing interactions. The linear correlation between separation energies and valence nucleon numbers, which was found to be locally applicable, is unified by our formulas.
