Referred to interchangeably as ‘expatriate’ or ‘migratory’ writing, it has garnered increasing scholarly interest globally, particularly due to escalating socio-political and economic tensions worldwide.Indian Diaspora literature has evolved into a significant component of Indian English literature, reflecting the extensive reach of the Indian Diaspora, which spans the globe and ranks as the third largest after the British and Chinese Diasporas. Its influence extends across various fields, notably in creative writing, where authors of Indian origin have articulated their diasporic experiences. This literary realm boasts a plethora of distinguished male and female writers who have migrated abroad for various reasons.
