Abstract
Cross-sections of the (p, 7 Be) reaction are calculated for nuclei from Al to U at energies up to 100 MeV Pre-equilibrium 7 Be emission is described by the hybrid exciton model combined with the coalescence pick-up model. For all nuclei with the exception of 209 Bi there is good agreement between calculated and experimental data.
