The Fourth Industrial Revolution propelled humanity to respond to its sophisticated requirements. Thus, education has to align its content towards it. This study investigated how the 21 st century instructors and professors, especially in the Higher Education level, employ innovations in teaching Social Science courses. The study utilized the descriptive research design using a correlational approach. The respondents were the Social Science instructors and professors across seven (7) campuses of Surigao del Sur State University (SDSSU). Based on the findings, the emerging innovations in teaching Social Sciences were moderately utilized by the instructors and professors in the university. In addition, they had agreed that they employed substantial preparation on the development of these teaching innovations. Consequently, the extent of preparation and extent of utilization of the emerging innovations have revealed a positive correlation. However, the results showed that there is a significant correlation among the big campuses compared to the small campuses of SDSSU.
