His research interests lie in the fields of design and synthesis of functional molecules, self-assembly methodologies of low-dimension and large-size molecular aggregations structures, and chemistry of carbon and rich carbon, with particular focus on the design and synthesis of photo-/electro-active molecular heterojunction materials and nanoscale and nano-structural materials. He is now an associate professor in Professor Yuliang Li’s group. His research interests focus on the synthesis of graphdiyne-based materials and investigating their applications in energy conversion devices.
