The number of doctors specialising in emergency medicine has risen, show data from the NHS’s Health and Social Care Information Centre.1 But Chris Moulton, vice president of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, said it was important that people didn’t underestimate the recruitment crisis still facing the specialty.
