Abstract

Existing trainees in emergency medicine can take part in a pilot scheme of run-through training, which is designed to improve recruitment in this specialty and make it a more attractive career choice. From early 2014 trainees will be able to take part in the pilot, which will be offered by all local education training boards in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
