Abstract

It has a broad application prospect to provide communication services with UAVs. In this paper, the authors propose an emergency communication service scheme based on UAV swarm, which can provide users with stable network connection to communication services when they are far from the base station. In our design, multiple UAVs will be placed in the middle of the base station and the target area to form a multi-antenna array. Beamforming technology is applied to increase the signal strength through the UAV and transmit the signal from the base station to the target area. Above the target area, we will deploy multiple UAVs using OFDM technology to provide signal relay services for users below. Through simulation and calculation on MATLAB and python, we verify the feasibility and applicability of this scheme.
