Abstract
Four water industry professionals and an electric industry professional discuss the importance of being prepared for accidental or deliberate power outages. The water industry and electric industry professionals included: Joe Bella, executive director, Passaic Valley Water Commission; George Cascos, head engineer, Detroit Water and Sewerage Department; Julius Ciaccia, commissioner, Cleveland Division of Water; Jennifer Tripp, principal with RW Beck; and, Saleh Qussar, engineer of water systems, Detroit Water and Sewerage Department.
