Abstract

The article is devoted to the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests of the 10/0.4 kV transformer-thyristor regulator (TTR) which has been developed by Nizhny Novgorod Technical University. The research subject was medium (6–20kV) and low (0.4 kV) voltage power distribution network (PDN). The medium and low PDN computer simulation models are described. These models allowed us to estimate of the TTR EMC. There were obtained the n-order voltage harmonics in 0.4 kV PDN on α1 and α2 angles control with smooth-discrete voltage regulation. The line voltage amplitude-frequency spectrum in controlled load node with TTR and the PDN nearby load buses is obtained. The research results have showed that the TTR doesn't significantly influence a nonsinusoidality.
