Abstract

Up to 1981 only the capability of active interfering, e.g. the interfering radiation power of the receivers, by which other radio services may be affected, was limited by the regulations substantially. But the time before the number of registered cases, where receivers were affected by other sevices, mainly by the CB-service, increased year after year (from about 5 600 in 1976 up to more than 11 000 in 1979). Based on this fact in 1981 the technical regulations for broadcast receivers have been supplemented by EMC regulations so that the receivers additionally must follow minimum values of immunity against interference under normal conditions.
